CMS Newsletter – May 2018

Dear reader,

I have the great pleasure to announce that Elke Duden joined CMS as a partner in our Employment and Pensions Department as from 1 May 2018.

Elke, an internationally renowned specialist in pensions and employment law, will continue the practice of Jef Degrauwe, who will be retiring after a career of more than 40 years. We thank Jef for the countless contributions to the firm.

Before joining CMS, Elke was Counsel at Linklaters, where over a period of more than 20 years she acquired a considerable reputation in the areas of individual employment and collective labour laws, with a focus on pensions law.

With her arrival, the Employment and Pensions Department at CMS in Brussels and Antwerp, will consist of 13 lawyers, including 3 partners.

Elke can be contacted at elke.duden@cms-db.com, telephone +32 2 743 69 30.

In this newsletter, we are pleased to bring you the latest legal news, on retail and consumer products, banking and finance, real estate, competition and employment law. Please also check out our upcoming seminars and webinars in the News section below.

With the many legislative reforms currently ongoing, in areas such as tax, corporate, insolvency, real estate and civil law, we are committed to keeping you updated on each subject matter through our newsletter and other channels.

We hope you have an enjoyable read.

Kind regards,

Tom Heremans
Managing Partner
